| Topaz, a stone of strength is the name of the topaz comes from the Sanskrit or the Greek, though the Greek name topazos means green gemstone but in nature yellow is very common and can be found in a broad range of colorless, blue, pink, peach, gold, green, red, and brown.
It is basically aluminum fluorite silicate with fluorine. Its chemical composition formula is Al2F2SiO4. Topaz is widely found in Brazil and Nigeria and also in Myanmar, Russia, Sri Lanka, and the United States. Since its hardness is 8 in Mohs scale, topaz is a hard gemstone next to corundum family that is very resistant to scratching, but because of its internal structure it may break or split if subjected to hard blows or sudden changes in temperature.
