Accredited Gemologist Diploma

The six-month 'Accredited Gemologist' (A.G.) program emphasizes the practical gemstone identification and synthetic/treatment detection skills required to become a proficient gemologist in today's gem and jewelry industry, as well as providing a solid grounding in the commercial aspects of grading and valuation. In addition to classroom-based theoretical and practical instruction, students are given the opportunity to visit various gem mining localities, jewelry production facilities and gemstone trading hubs throughout Thailand, as well as further afield in Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Vietnam.

Course Modules:

• Gem Identification 12 weeks (Theory 09.00 - 12.00 hour / Practical 13.00 - 16.00 hour. )
• Synthetic and Treated Gem Identification    4 weeks (Theory 09.00 - 12.00 hour / Practical 13.00 - 16.00 hour. )
• Colored Stone Grading and Pricing             4 weeks (Theory & Practical 09.00-12.00 hour.)
• Diamond Grading and Pricing                      4 weeks (Theory & Practical 09.00-12.00 hour.)

หลักสูตรประกาศนียบัตรนักอัญมณี เป็นหลักสูตรที่สอนเกี่ยวกับการวิเคราะห์อัญมณี สอนการปรับปรุงคุณภาพเพชรพลอย สีพลอยต่าง ๆ ทั้งพลอยและเพชร สังเคราะห์และเลียนแบบ สอนการประเมินคุณภาพ การตีราคาพลอย และการตีราคาเพชร ทั้งทฤษฎีและปฏิบัติ ใช้เวลาเรียนทั้งสิ้น 6 เดือน โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อให้นักเรียนมีความรู้ความสามารถด้านอัญมณี ซึ่งถือเป็นหนึ่งในปัจจัยสำคัญในการก้าวสู่ความสำเร็จในวงการอัญมณี นอกเหนือจากความชำนาญอันเกิดจากการสั่งสมประสบการณ์ซึ่งต้องอาศัยระยะเวลาพอสมควร 

ประกอบด้วยหลักสูตรหลักๆ 4 หลักสูตรด้วยกัน คือ

ท102 การวิเคราะห์อัญมณี (ภาคทฤษฎี 13.00-16.00 น. ภาคปฏิบัติ 09.00-12.00 น.)

ท301 การวิเคราะห์พลอยแท้พลอยสังเคราะห์ (ภาคทฤษฎี 13.00-16.00 น. ภาคปฏิบัติ 09.00-12.00 น.)

ท201 การประเมินคุณภาพและตีราคาพลอย (ภาคทฤษฎีและภาคปฏิบัติ 13.00-16.00 น.) 

ท103 การประเมินคุณภาพและตีราคาเพชร (ภาคทฤษฎีและภาคปฏิบัติ 13.00-16.00 น. )
