Perhaps the largest one we have come acrossed, this unique and large cab sapphire has a bronzy mettallic base interspersed with blue and blue black \"island\" shaped color spots. Minute open surface cavities can also be observed as well as cellular transparent tree like growth structure on one side of the cab. Weak diffused \"asterism\" is present. Flat bottom. Good sample piece. |
