Medium pinkish red hue cut ruby from Mogok unheated. Heart shape and rather shallow stone with a big face. Fine brush strokes of soft silk diagonally positioned and pointed towards the right shoulders create a shimmering effect as you rock the piece in a tweezer. There is a thin healing fissure at the pavilion that is undiscernable from the face up. Weighing over a carat and priced very well at USD 275 for the piece.
