An emerald cut Red spinel from Mogok weighing 4.49 carats with straight edges does bring about an elegance and a "Clean cut" appearance to the stone. The clarity is good and the quality of the polish is excellent. There are however abraded facet junctions that resulted from "stone paper wear" and a slight retouch repolishing is recommended.
